Hi -
My name is Lisa Luiso, formerly Lisa Knuckles. Not sure if it helps at all, but my grandfather was George Matt Knuckles. I don't have exact details of where he was born but I think it was Pineville. He had a lot to do with Red Bird (not sure if that is part of Pineville)? I think he taught there. He had about 8-9 siblings and he had polio since he was 2 years old. He married my grandmother (Ena Smith) from Pineville. They had 1 child (my dad) Anthony Sherwin Knuckles (Tony). George was a teacher (I think in Red Bird) and he and my grandma owned a store either there or in Pineville. Not sure of dates, but my grandma died 2 years ago (2008) at the age of 92. So I guess that makes it 2-2-1916. My grandpa died at 92 as well, but quite a few years ago. I think he was born 9-2-190?.
Let me know if this helps or if you'd like more info.
Thanks
Lisa
