I apologize for not posting sooner, Our James may well be related to the family you are talking about, but the dating does not help. Although, the family does interrelate with the Bailey's, further down, and possible earlier.
Our James and his brother John were born in SC, I am sure the families came originally out of VA, after coming over from Ireland. James was born around the turn of the century between 1800 and 1810 or so, I do believe they lived in Georgia, that is where his wife was from. Her name was Elizabeth Roberts, they were married in Mississippi in 1831, my great great grandmother Mary Nolen was born in Mississippi in 1832. Trying to tie James and John up with their parents has been very hard. But, also remember in those days, they held huge St. Patrick Day celebrations in Georgia, family from all over would come to join in. Please don't leave us, we are all in the melting pot together, and probably will link them together. Thanks Mare
