In the Winston County Cemeteries(Winston County,Mississippi)book you will find Florence and Frank's name on page 302. Also on follow up (this is probably The Senior Gideon Nowell's son) Gideon Perry Nowell is listed on page 382. He is burried at or was a member of Vernon Assembly Of God. He was born 15 of November, 1891 and died 22nd of January, 1964. page382. I found in the book Confederate Soldiers 1861-1865, the names of all Nowell's(mispelled in original military rosters as Nowel)who served in The Confederates States of America. page 551 and 552. Here they list my great grandfather as Joseph (John?) S. ( Silas?)Nowel. He and his brother Gideon P.(Perry?)Nowell both were in the Mississipi 14th Infantry, Company F. On page 126 Eva May Nowell is listed. She was my father's (Hulbert Thomas Nowell) sister. Dad said she was called Little Eva and died of pneumonia. She is burried in the Fulton Cemetary and died of LD and ML (?). Eva was born 18th of July 1905 and died 24th of April 1907. I even found my name(Ralph Edward Nowell) on page 150. But this was another Ralph Edward Nowell as he was burried in Harmony Baptist Church, born 22nd of November 1934 and died 9th of September, 1973. He served in the Mississippi A2c US Air Force. Many of my relatives and kinfolk are listed and you might find helpful information in The Winston County Cemeteries Book.
