I belong to a Novis family of Spain.
My mother´s name is M.Teresa Novis and her greatgrandfather lived in England after running away for political reasons in the XVIII c.
Nevertheless the family name comes from the french region of Grenoble. If you are interested I can send you more information that have been kept in my family during more than 150 years.
