Yes I have the hand written family tree as well, from Margaret Spinks she only lives just up the road from me so I’m sure we meet up soon.
Letchmore Heath is a village in Hertfordshire where the family lived before they moved to Mill Hill, but I never found out where they came from before that, but Aunt Mabel always said that they came from Norfolk and that 3 of our great grandfathers brothers worked as gardeners on the Sandringham estate and one of them was head gardener. But when my son Christopher looked into there records no notley could be found to have worked there. Incidentally Chris is a head gardener on an estate and he and Simone have a little girl called Harriet, Jonathan has a Chinese wife and lives back in mill hill he is a chef and has been all over Canada but I never had any contact details of any of you or he would have come to see you all. And my youngest Robert is an art teacher in a collage in Luton.
Is it true that you have a philip notley there ? And he has a sister who went to spain ?
So who are your mother and father then, were you born a Notley, do you have children, oh theres so much to know. I remember as a kid Pop having a map of Canada so he could see where his brother lived, they use to write to each other.
And now we are writing to each other, this is fun
