Thanks for sharing. I may get back to the Thompson photo.

Here is a note to Diane which bounced.
Hi Diane,
Congratulations on your publishing your Norwood Family History Book!
My name is Ray Thompson, I am researching Andrew “Andy” Norwood’s family. I believe he may have been stepfather to my g. Grandfather Marcus Lafayette Thompson and his twin brother Albert William Thompson. I believe Andrew married my 2nd g. Grandmother whose first initial may have been “R”, sometime between 1831 and 1840 in the area of Decatur, Morgan County Alabama. Andrew and “R” are shown as married in the 1850 Harrison County TX federal census. “R” may have been Marcus and Albert’s mother. Their mother was widowed when the boys were very young and she may have married Andrew who may have also become a widower with young children about the same time period. I believe all of Andrew and “R’s” children are enumerated under Andrew on the 1840 Morgan County Alabama Federal Census.
My question is, does your book have any information about Andrew, perhaps being widowed in Decatur, Morgan county AL sometime between 1830 and 1840 and marrying a woman by the name of “R” Thompson with twin sons during this time?
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Ray Thompson
PS: Andrew and "R" and family are in Harrison County Texas by the 1850 US census. Would that be near where these pictures were found? thanks
