Do you have additional information about Elizabeth Norwood's life in AL, i.e., where she was born, etc.? For a number of years I have been seeking information about an Alabama Norwood family that my ggfather, Richard Smith Norwood, left when his wife, Martha Russel Norwood, refused to go with him to join the Mormon gathering in IL. Richard and Martha were married in Tuscaloosa in 1834, and some reports indicate that they had as many as six children by the time he left in 1845. The family is listed in the 1840 Talladega census showing 3 female children under 5 yrs old which corresponds with your Elizabeth's birth information. Although RS Norwood left an autobiography, unfortunately the pages regarding this part of his life are missing. I would appreciate any further information you might have.
