It has been so many years since you sent in your initial inquiry, I am not sure if you are still looking for more information on Ella Brimi. I was working on the bygdebok (community history book) from Lom which had information on the farm that she was born on. I can send you a gedcom file with her information per that book. According to it, her name was listed as "Eldrid". She would have been born in 1855 on the Sygard (small farm) portion of the Brimi farm. Her father, Eilev Syversson Sygard Brimi, was born in 1817 and her mother, Mari Kristensdotter Øverbø Frisvoll, was born in 1831. The entry in the book lists her siblings and goes back about 4 generations on her father's side. Please let me know if you would like the gedcom file or other details from the bygdebok.
