No, I'm not related to them in anyway that I know. I only recognized the names from your earlier posting even though the spellings were quite "Americanized".
I have a little family history in the Gran/Jevanker area of Oppland and many Norwegian relatives who lived in Thor and Eagle Grove area. Olsons, Hansons, Larsons, etc. but no Thompsons.
All probably just coincidence. But it made me smile.
