The Deerwood and Scandia cemetery that you mention located WHERE in Minnesota? There was a Deerwood in Kittson Co and one in Crow Wing Co.

The 1900 US census shows an Ole Lee in Crow Wing Co. Age a bit different but listed as a tailor. You could probably find at least an approximate year of immigration to the US on such a census.
Also check Minnesota state census enumerations.

It seems quite a distance from Fargo ND to Crow Wing Co. MN to transport a body for burial. Did newspapers for either location have any additional information?
