FRIEDERICI in Tronheim 1807-1827
Posted by: Georg Roberto Friederici (ID *****1116) Date: December 11, 2012 at 07:16:32
  of 17707

During the Napoleonic War a member from my family stayed 1807-27 in Trondheim. His full name was Julius Christian Wilhelm Friederici (born 1786). He came from Flensburg and the question is, if it could be possible to find out some infos in Trondheim from that years 1807 til 1827 in Newspapers or other historical sources from that time. He worked with his brother in Flensburg, a shipowner, merchandising different products, so wine, brandwine, coffee, suggar and others. During one year he stayed in Leith (Scotland), because in September 1810 the english fregatte "TARTAR" captured two ships from Flensburg and Trondheim. The ship from Trondheim was the Sailingship "TVENDE BRØDRE", captain Hans Otzen. The ship from Flensburg was the ship "DIE EINIGKEIT” with captain Peter Petersen Bøndstrup.
Any suggestion, any help will be welcome.
Best regards from Oldenburg (Germany)
Georg Friederici
