There is a family tree for these people on Ancestry.com and it states that Carl's parents are Simon Simonsen Langager and Anne Marie Kristoffersdr Liknes.

From the parish registers on Digitalarkivet, I found their marriage in Skudenes, Rogaland, Norway:

Married: 11 Apr 1878
Groom: Simon Simonsen Langager
Birthdate: 29 May 1852
Father's Name: Simon Halvorsen Langager
Bride: Anne Marie Kristoffersdr Liknes
Birthdate: 18 Apr 1852
Father's Name: Kristoffer Kristoffer Liknes

Looking at their baptismal records:

Simon
b. 29 May 1852
chr. 31 May 1852 Skudenes, Rogaland, Norway
Parents: Simon Halvorsen Langager & Berthe Simonsdr

Anne Marie
b. 18 Apr 1852
chr. 2 May 1852 Skudenes
Parents: Kristoffer Kristoffersen Liknes & Helene Marie Olsdr

I'm not related.

~Michael
