OK hope this is better info, looking for info on this family please I shall try to put what info I have currently and hope for the best thanks. My ggreat grandfather Thomas Thompson died on 23/06/1896 at Broken Hill NSW, Australia, of pneumonia he was in hospital 4 days. He was 42yrs which makes his birth year around 1853-4 ish the death cert I have does not state a dob. His parents listed on the ceath cert were Thomas Thomspon and Annie Maloney or Mahoney. He was born in Christaina, Norway. He lived 20 yrs in South Australia and 4yrs in New South Wales, Australia. He was married in Willunga to Annie(Honora) Daly for 22yrs. Children listed on death cert were Adelaide Amelia 15yrs, Pearl 11yrs, Maggie 7yrs, Stanley 4yrs, none deceased. The informant was the house surgeon at the Broken Hill Hospital. He was buried on the 26th June 1896 by the COE minister. (this is the info on his death cert) now to SA records I have a marriage for him to Honora Daly on 09/09/1879 he was aged 24yrs and she was 17yrs, grroms father Thomas Thompson and Brides father Michael Daly married Willunga SA, Ausralia. I have the following children from the state library records; Stanley Thompson born 15/05/1892 born Goolwa South Australia, Wilhemine Maria 25/08/1896 Goolwa, Adelaide Amelia(my great grandmother) born 09/03/1880 Goolwa, Annie Victoria 07/12/1886 Goolwa. I have a possible birth for Honora Daly from library state records which follows Norah Daly born 02/09/1863 father michael Daly- mother Ann Moroney (which is the motherthat was put on the Thomas,s death cert so was miss informed). Langhornes Creek, South Australia. When Thomas died Honora remarried a Alfred Probert on 27/04/1907 in Port Elliot SA. I found on Ancestry a Wihemine Thompson Travelling to San Fransisco from Sydney Australia on March 24th 1921 and had been told by family that we had relatives in America. I also have a death notice in the The Advertiser dated 26th June 1896 stating that Thomas died leaving a wife and 4 children and he was a captain and mate on the Murray Darling Steamboats, for many years and then held the contract to load and unload wool for the railways, and then later got work in the mines as the boat was laid to rest at Wilcannia, he ailed only for a few days and died from pneuonia. This is all of the info I have and I hope this is enough to go on as I would really like to know where the family goes from here, and whether I have Norwegian Ancestry, Thank you so much for your imput regards Sonia,
