I have no such recommendation - I do not speak Norwegian or fluently read Norwegian.
I have used the Norwegian parish records, censuses and various bygdeboks, etc. because names are still just names - dates are dates (always be aware of European date format) - there are very very helpful lists of translated Norwegian words commonly found in our genealogy researches online - AND I bought a good Norwegian-English dictionary which I keep on the reference shelf of my bookshelf.
I still have a collection of Norwegian narratives which I have not translated - but I work on them slowly one at a time when I feel like it. I gathered the vital dates and important events fairly easily and I save the more difficult sections for later.
