54916 was the official number for the Augustine and some records for her are held at Liverpool:

There is also this index to crew lists (will not be complete, they estimate they got about 2% of the total, but you might have some luck, there is a Frank Johnson on the index sailed in 1870):

These records may give a birthplace, hopefully one more specific than just "Norway".
