Sometimes it seems that searching siblings is off on a tangent, but it does help with additional information.

The littlest brother Elias Larsen Waldal, ended up in Alaska, even though his original destination was Colorado. There are a couple of online documents I found (but cannot open without paying) when I google "elias Larsen Waldal" with quotation marks.

I think it says Cordera Alaska,

The documents are probably registration for the draft. There should be one for WW1 and WW2. Unless he was in Canada in WW1 time frame.

I found that he filed an intent for US citizenship, while working as a miner in Cordova Alaska in about 1940.

He died in 1949 in Cordova Alaska, using the name Edward Elias Waldal. According to an Alaska death document I found online.
