Here is the record from familysearch.org that shows the wedding for Karen Elisabet's parents:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NWHS-VV6

parents: John Thoresen
spouse: Lars Peter Olsen

groom's name: Lars Peter Olsen
bride's name: Elisabet Jonsdr
marriage date: 10 Jun 1866
marriage place: Norddal,More Og Romsdal,Norway
groom's father's name: Ole Elias
bride's father's name: John Thoresen
indexing project (batch) number: M42241-2
system origin: Norway-ODM
source film number: 306967

The actual scan of their wedding record from the Norddal church books shows more clues as to the parents of the couple.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=2248&idx_id=2248&uid=ny&idx_side=-38

The couple is married June 10, 1866, and they are one of several couples married that day. The couple is entry 7, the third couple on the page. Translation:

10 June 1866, bachelor Lars Peter Olsen from Valdal farm, age 24, and single girl Elisabet Jonsdatter from Dalhus farm, age 25.

The groom is the son of farm owner Ole Elias Valdal. The bride is the daughter of farm owner John Thoresen Dalhus.

The column after the fathers' names I can't figure out. It think it refers to the location of the marriage. Then there is a column with three dates, that is when the Banns are read in the church, announcing the wedding.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banns_of_marriage

The dates are
20, 21 and 27 of May, 1866.

then there are years and dates for when the married couple either had smallpox or had the smallpox vaccination. It seems they were both vaccinated. with a two part vaccination?

So the census of 1865 does show Elisabet Johnsdatter's parents, and her sister.

Municipality number: 1524
Name of domicile: Dalhuus
Number of persons in this domicile: 7
