Hi Michele,
Working with other members of the family, we have begun to update the family records in the U.S.A. and amass the records of the family principally in England, Canada and Australia.Since there is not a tome like A. Judd's Northrup/Northrop Genealogy for the family in England, we have been gathering the records from old parishchurches, wills, graveyards, etc. The earliest Northrup ancestor we've found in England, so far, is Walter de Northorpe who was mentioned in (1086 AD) the "Domesday (Doomsday) Census Book" ordered by William the Conqueror after the Norman invasion of England. We have a lot of bits and pieces, continue to gather more, and have now begun connecting the "threads." Send me an email ([email protected]) and I will try to help connect your family to the main lineage.
Best regards,
Clyde:-)
