Dear Sam,
Thanks again for your amazingly generous help!! You have no idea how much you've found for us in just a blink of an eye!
Truth is, I did not have these records for John and Sarah, nor John's father Andrew! Nor did we have info about their fathers' names. It makes sense that John would have named his only son Andrew after his own father. It is very special to know their churches as well, thank you for including that. What is your method of finding the records?
The only one which may not be related is the Robert Cooper marriage record, it may be a different fellow. Sarah Cooper's mother was Margaret and she was from Tyrone. She was 70 in '11 so there may be a record of her marriage registered in Tyrone sometime in the late 1850s or 1860s. How would I go about finding that? Do records exist?
I just looked up information online about Fitzroy and Eglinton, to see what they looked like and where they were located back then. You've opened up a new world of family history for us, we can't thank you enough.
Best,
Michelle
