I agree with Eileen. Scottish marriage certificates contain both parents names, so that will be a help. Also check every census in Scotland that Ellen is recorded in. Though mostly place of birth is just shown as Ireland, occasionally you get a townland or parish instead. The marriage certificate and the censuses will both be on the Scotlandspeople website:
It would also be worth checking any Poor Law records in Scotland. If she claimed under the poor law (as many Irish immigrants did), it was normal to record the personís parish in Ireland, and often other family details. Poor Law records for Glasgow are in the Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Other counties records tend to be in the appropriate county museum. Cambusnethan is in Lanarkshire.
