EDMUND DE WIND VC - killed WW1 - 1918

I have had a request to find information re. Edmund De Wind who won the VC in WW1. He was b. Dec. 11, 1883, the youngest of 3 sons and 5 daughters. His father was the Chief Engineer on the Belfast & Co Down Railway & he built the family home "Kinvara." He immigrated to Canada in 1911, enlisted in the 31st Battalion, 2nd Canadian Contingent, Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1915. In war it is sad to lose someone, but not to have his body for closure must add to the continued feelings of loss. Thank you for your suggestions. Many British Home Children were killed in WW1 too - in the Canadian Army.
