Mary Dalton & Agnes Dalton married Thomas Quin and Patrick Quin in Armagh
Mary Dalton married Thomas Quin in Armagh.....he died and she left to settle in Felling Durham with three or four children and her younger brother Oliver Dalton this was before the 1841 Census in England was taken...... Thomas Dalton Quin born about 1829 married twice Alice Carr and then Mary Duffy settled Jarrow on Tyne..... his brother Patrick Quin born about 1832 married Ann McCart of Co.Down and eventually left Felling for Elswick Newcastle upon Tyne over the river........There parents were Agnes Dalton sister of the above and Patrick Quin brother of the above......there followed three other offspring.....Margaret Quin married to William Douglass in Armagh 1853 and her sister Mary Ann Quin....who eventually married a James O Hanlon.....found there way too Felling Durham also....much later Felix Quin also made his way to Felling born about 1844 or 1846 he married Mary Cain and had ten children also settled in Jarrow on Tyne.....
In 1885Agnes a widow came to liv e with her family in Newcastle upon Tyne.....as had her sister so many many years before......she lived there a year dyin g there in 1886 it isnt known wether any siblings stayed behind in Armagh.....and there may have been siblings who went to other parts of the world......We can trace the family on Tyneside as the records of all the churches on Tyne and Wear are in the public domain at Tyne and Wear Archives....all those found trace back to Patrick Quin who never left Ireland and Agnes Dalton......and the place of registration or baptism is given for all as Creenagh Kilmore Armagh.......Any one that is connected please get in touch also if anyone can look up about Creenagh and Richill Diocese....or a Griffiths Evaluation for that area......I would be grateful....Patsy
