Zelma M. Northcutt

June 16, 1920 - Feb. 14, 2002

HANNIBAL - Zelma M. Northcutt, 81, of Hannibal and formerly of rural New London, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Willow Care Center in Hannibal.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. The Rev. David Huck will officiate.

There will be no visitation. The Smith Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Northcutt was born June 16, 1920, in Ralls County to Hubbard and Ruby Truitt Brown.

She was married to Hubert J. Northcutt on Jan. 5, 1937. He preceded her in death Feb. 4, 1996.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Williams of New London and Jan Perryman of Overland Park, Kan.; two sons, Jerry Northcutt of Charlottesville, Va., and Don Northcutt of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Paul Northcutt, Tim Northcutt, Todd Williams, Jill Whitaker, Julie Rye, Mitzi Perryman, Regar Northcutt and Ryan Northcutt; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Turnbull of Hannibal and Hilda Hall of Kansas City, Mo.

The family wishes to include as survivors one daughter-in-law, Kathy Northcutt; two sons-in-law, Bob Williams and Doug Perryman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anne F. Northcutt; and one brother, Frank Brown.

Mrs. Northcutt was a member of the Saverton/Illasco United Methodist Church.

The family wishes to include that she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her home had been at Willow Care Center the past two years where she received wonderful loving care.

Memorials may be made to Saverton/Illasco United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Paul Northcutt, Tim Northcutt, Todd Williams, Jill Whitaker, Julie Rye and Mitzi Perryman.


Note: Hubert Justin Northcutt is the son of Marshia Raymond Northcutt and Annabelle Tyler. Anne F. Northcutt
(daughter of Hubert & Zelma Northcutt) died in an automobile accident abt. 1975-76 at Marblehead, Adams Co, Illinois just south of Quincy, IL on Hwy. 57. They formerly lived on Route N between Saverton & Oak Hill Rd. in Ralls Co, Missouri.
