Hi Brasher: Yes, please. Would be interested in their children. Have so many connections to South Alabama that a new connection through the Miller boys could be just about anywhere. Noted George married a Mixson. Have several Mixon connections, though yours spells the name somewhat differently. The Evergreen library in Conecuh had a couple of Mixon/Mixson et al books that might interest you. Were Mixons also in SC.
You mention that William P. Miller was a Methodist Minister but the census I found him in (1870) notes him as a Superintendant of Education. But then I hadn't followed him from previous or later censuses.
Lots of Methodists...Dawson Northcutt's father was a Methodist preacher, though I don't think he ever had a pulpit of his own, possibly circuit riding. Several Northcutts and related kin went into the Methodist ministry. Lots of farmers and preachers.
