Thank you for your helpful response, and apologies for
taking so long to acknowledge it. I'm especially glad to
know what became of Richard Jr. and Martha (Moore) Northcutt.

I will only add that a Richard Northcut shows up in the
St. Pauls Parish vestry records (Hanover County) as the
sexton of the church. After his death his widow took over
the job. The vestry records are on Ancestry.com, but if
you don't have access to that and want the particulars
just let me know. I will try to be more timely in my
response.
