I have been searching for the next link of my geneological chain. Currently this is what I have starting with most recent. Generation 1 - (Me) Kevin North, b. 1971 Tarrant Co. Texas Generation 2 - My father, Kenneth North, b.1947 Florida Generation 3 - My grand father, Elmer North, b.1928 d.1981 Wise Co. Texas Generation 4 - My great-grandfather, Eldridge North, b.1900 d.1974 Wise Co. Texas Generation 5 - My great(2)grandfather, James Henry North, b.1879 d.1929 Hardeman Co. Texas Generation 6 - My great(3)grandfather, Charles North, b.1856 d.? The record from the 1900 census shows James's birthplace as Tennessee. The census record from 1880 Bradly Co. Tennessee shows James being 1 year old which fits the timeline. It has his parents listed as Charles and Sarah North. (Her maiden name was either Gass or Goss.) It also shows Charles was born in Georgia, but doesn't get any closer than that description. One other note worth mentioning is that during the 1880 census, Charles and Sarah had two kids, William b.1878 and James b.1879 James had three children. Eldridge b.1900 d.1974, Altha, and Loberta. Any help from someone who may have previously explored this line would be deeply appreciated. Kevin North Kevin@Northworld.net Notify Administrator about this message?
