Wm. NORTH, 1850 census, Fairfield Co., OH, b. 1768 in MD

In the military/pension records I have for Zachariah NORTH, who died at Ft. Meigs in 1813, it states that, in 1851, Zachariah's sons, John and Jacob, filed court papers to receive their "half-pay," that was granted them. I'm guessing they never received it or received only partial payments. One of their witnesses was a William NORTH of Fairfield Co., OH. I don't know just who this William was as there are 5 William Norths in Fairfield at the time. Three of them are in Clear Creek, which is probably where this William was from. They are:
William NORTH, b. abt. 1768, Maryland
William NORTH, b. abt. 1813, Ohio
William R. NORTH, b. abt. 1828, OH.

Any ideas, anyone?

Kaylynn
