Hello Cousin Gerri....I do not understand the depth of your anger with Tina Draper's kind and enthusiastic contribution to the Benjamin Norrod family history, but I find it naive and unprofessional at best.
There are thousands of us who claim Benjamin and Drusilla as our grandparents along with their many allied lines.
I see nothing wrong with Tina's posting. As a researcher of thirty six years I have seen this same information in all manner of printings, including the Overton, Tennesee Genealogical Society's quarterly.
This posting does not include the personal information to the living...this family belongs to all of us and is not the personal property of a few.
I am the grandaughter of Jeremiah, Benjamin's brother. As with so many lines, this maternal one crosses over to my paternal line, who has still many family members living in Overton County, Tennessee.
Without the help of all the Tinas, the younger researchers would have no way to work out their family tree....we older ones are getting too old to keep printing up and contacting, so need to help the young ones and encourage them...not scold. Perhaps this is why she never answered your question.
Your annoyed cousin, Joan.
