Linda,

You've confused the two Patricks from South Carolina. Please look at my posting in Jan. of this year on Patrick Norris from Fairfield District, S.C. and also Teresa Norris Evans' posting in May of this year for more detailed information. Your Patricks' first wife was Civility Hurst.

Hiram's brother Alexander, in a sworn statement for his father's Rev. War pension, lists all the children and thier ages as you have in your previous post. I would encourage you to find the actual document at you local genealogical library. Hopefully your library has access to Footnote? I believe that maybe the best source to read the document or maybe through Heritage Quest?

Then you may want to check out the Will of George Norris from Duplin County N.C. for more on your Partrick.
