Nimrod E. Ducker/Margaret Norris - What military unit, war was Nimrod in? Who were his parents? In 1830 census there are six Ducker children in his & Margaret's family - I have William C., James M., Nancy Ann Elizabeth, Mary N., Sarah, & Ellen. Can anyone confirm these? Were there more sons? I have Margaret Norris Ducker m. Edmond Dosier/Dosier 10 Aug 1837 in Sumter Co.,GA. I have a question about James M. being a Ducker because hes on a later census under Dozier or did Margaret have another son named James. Shes a widow again on the 1860 Houston Co., GA Census. William C. Ducker m. Priscilla Paulk/Palk in GA -- James M. Ducker m. 3 times in Jackson Co, FL -- Sarah Stickland, Sarah F. Sims, & Ada McClellon/McClellan/McClendan -- Nancy Ann Ducker m. Jonathan Paulk in GA -- Sarah Ducker m. Richard Goodwin in GA & then Samuel Ethridge/Etheredge in GA -- Mary N. Ducker m. Micajah Paulk/Palk in GA -- Ellen/Elnor Ducker m. Luke J. Elmore in GA.
Any info on Margaret Norris Ducker's parents or siblings? Where or when she died? I believe she may be sister of Enoch Allen Norris shes counted near in the 1850 Decatur Co., GA Census.
Most of the Ducker-Paulk-Elmore-Ethridge group migrates down to Jackson Co., FL between 1855-1860.
