I have just received a military bounty land application for Margaret DUCKER, widow of Nimrod. She states that she was formerly Margaret NORRIS and she and Nimrod were married on 18 Oct 1815 in Emanuel Co, GA. I have not located them in 1820, but in 1830, they are in Houston Co, GA. According to the application, Nimrod died 13 Jan 1836 in Baker Co, GA.

In 1828 Nimrod DUCKER witnessed a deed of Isaac Norris of Houston Co to James Cannon of Houston Co. I strongly suspect Margaret was the sister of Isaac. She was born about 1796 in SC.

I have seen many posts of William Norris that include a son Isaac but don't mention a Margaret. Can anyone shed some light on that?
