Seeking information about Robert NORRIS. He was born between 1755-1759 in Granville Co., NC. He married Mary "Polly" Roland in 1789 in Franklin Co., NC. Census records are as follows:
1790 Franklin Co. NC Census, p. 44A:

1800 Franklin Co. NC Census, p. 470B:

Robert's borther, John NORRIS moved with his family to Rutherford Co., TN, sometime about 1810. I found one record as follows for Robert NORRIS:
Rutherford Co., TN County Court Minutes, 1811-1815:
Jul 1813, p. 311: Jurors to next Circuit Court: ... Robert NORRIS...
Green NORRIS, son of Robert Norris and Polly Roland, was born 1790-1800 in Franklin Co., NC, and died abt Mar 1812 in Franklin Co., NC. Study of the 1800 Franklin Co. NC Census record shows that at least one addition male was born between 1790 and 1800.
I don't know if the males resided in TN and moved westward into Kentucky or if families moved into Georgia and Alabama. Or did Robert Norris simply die soon after his appearance in the juror record above. We know for certain that Robert NORRIS left North Carolina about the time that his father died in 1810 in Franklin Co., NC. Does anyone know for certain what happened to Robert Norris?
