I am starting my research on the Norris side of my family. I have very little information. I don't know his father, mother or siblings and hope someone will be able to give me a lead. My information follows:

Oscar McDonal Norris born 2-11-1847 in Alabama & died 1927 in Alabama. He served in the CSA. He was a private in Co K of the 53rd Ala regiment Cavalry (Partisian Rangers). He is buried in Ebenezer Cem near Holtville, Al.

His wife was Amanda Ann Goree born 2-7-1847 in Autauga Co, Alabama and died 6-22-1910 in Alabama-probably Elmore Co.
