Those of you NORRELLS' 'down-under' might be interested in this.

In 1810 GEORGE NORRELL of WEST SUSSEX,ENGLAND was found guilty of a crime and sentenced to seven year's transportation to AUSTRALIA.
There is mention of this in WEST SUSSEX RECORD OFFICE and reference to it in a book there as well.
I can provide further details if you are interested.

The question I would like answered is, was he ever sent to AUSTRALIA (if so did he remain there) or was his sentenced served elsewhere?.
Is he your ancestor!.
Can any of you help me?
