Sounds like you are talking about Benjamin Issac Norred b abt 1735 in Buckinghamshire England. I am related to him (ggggg grandfather). He arrived in America in 1749 as an indentured servant. He married Drusilla Mullican (from Holland b abt 1737) in 1756 after completing his indenture-ship in Fletcher county Maryland. They migrated south through Virginia, Tennessee (Benjamin Issac Norred died here in 1816 in Stewart county), Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas (where my group ended up) and onward. All the children were born as they migrated along the way. I have setup a website, www.norreds.com and can be contacted through there.
