Hi Karen,

Thanks for writing. If your brother would like to submit a sample to FTDNA, that would be very helpful. Many times, each participant will have a unique genetic pattern and not fall into an existing group, but very often we have had people match others in the project. It may also help other people who need to connect themselves to Norwood/Norred ancestors. We have quite a few men with Norred ancestry now.
