Our family has a Mullican (variety of spellings) Norred (variety of spellings) who arrived in Conecuh Co, AL in 1818 or so.A Mullican Sr. and Jr. were there. They came from the old 96th district of S.C. (Edgefield)They were on the Conecuh Co Al Census in 1820, 1830.Sr. died before the 1840 census.Jr. was married to a Mary in S.C. all of the children were theirs.Hemarried a Jane Avery in Monroe Co. Al in 1836.He died before 1850.
We have recorded the following as his children:Kate who married a Thompson, Larkin b. 1800 who was in St. Clair,Al. census of 1840 and owned real estate in Calhoun CO. John who married a Catherine anddied in Conecuh Co.James who married Bonetia Ann Kyser, Emily Ann Norred who married Wm. Edward Ellis in Sparta, COnecuh Co., Al. and died in 1886, and another Mullican born in 1808 and married Martha Blankenship in WIlcox CO. Al.He died in 1858.
