Jo Anne, My mother's gandpa was Matthew Normoyle/Normile, b 1862. He lived here in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his sister, Mary, b 1863. Their parents were John + Honora Normoyle, who later returned to Limerick, Ireland, to raise 3 more boys, John, Robeert, + Nicholas. Mary + Matthew were left behind to be raised by their Aunt Ellen Cain/Keane. This was during the potato famine years. We never knew why they were left behind like that. Perhaps it was impractical to take them on a long boat trip back to Ire. Many children/infants died back then on board. I hope you can find Harold + some connections. Where does he hail from? Where are you from? Don't worry, I have the feeling you'll get lucky on this. You really ought to contact Ken Normile- he knows every thing there is to know about the Normile/migration patterns /roots/clue him in on your city. God bless you. Mary Fey
