O.K., now I see where your Alexis fits into the family. Pierre-Daniel Normandin and Marie-Josephe Brule had 6 children that I know of: 1) Pierre Daniel, b. 10/22/1731 2) Louis, b. 1733 3) Jean Baptiste, b. 1/11/1734 or 1745 4) Pierre, b. 7/22/1737 5)ALEXIS, b.c. 1745, & 6) Genevieve, b.c. 1750. I have Alexis m. to Marie Beauregard Jarret on 2/15/1768 in Vercheres, Quebec. Marie's parents were LOUIS JARRET & MARGUERITE ST AUBIN (m. 1/12/1750 at Vercherie, Quebec.) Marie had a brother, Andre, who m. Marie Catherine Bouvier on 1/12/1750 at Vercheres, Quebec. There appears to be a lot of people living in the Vercheres area with the Jarrett name. I'm sure that surname must have many spellings? Depending on what generation you are from, I believe we are 9th cousins. I met another person who is a descendent of Pierre-Daniel Normandin & we figured out our relationship as 9th cousins. I'm giving you some of the info this cousin gave me plus I have a very good web site where you might be able to get more information on this line. If you give me your e-mail address, I will tell you about the web site. I can also let this cousin know about your inquiry as she might be able to help you more than I can. (An added note: I'm also related to the brother of Marie Josephe Brule (Antoine Louis Brule), so we have a dual relationship.)
