Hello Jim,
I think you and I must be first cousins. I am your aunt Caroline's boy, Dick. I saw your message on the Gedcom Forum and was delighted find your name. You see, at 81 I have just become interested in Genealogy and my family's history. I am the most rank beginner. I last saw Aunt Harriette when she and Virginia came to say goodbye to my mom just before she died in 1980. Even though I was never interested in Genealogy, I managed to save some family documents and photos. I also have some letters from your mother. When she lived in Hollywood, I would stop by and visit with her from time to time. Please, Jim, if you are interested, send me an email message and I'll be happy to share anything I have.

PS To answer your question, my parents, William Eskel Norman and Caroline Cogswell Standen were married on 02 March, 1924 at Glendale, CA. I still have the marriage announcement that Grandpa Standen sent out.
