Hi,
My guess is that Elizabeth was related to Benajah Nordyke in some way.Benajah moved to Crab Orchard with his son James D. Nordyke and daughter-in-law (Leticia Smith Nordyke?) and their children (and possibly other family members as there was intermarrying between the Foleys and the Nordykes and there are plenty of Foleys in that graveyard). From there, James and a number of his family emigrated to Grundy County, MO and the children dispersed from thence, some to California, some to Oregon and Washington, some to other parts of MO.Some died in Grundy County.I believe Benajah remained in Crab Orchard where he died at quite an advanced age.
For more information, check the Genforum for messages from Li Ann Harper Lee, one of James D's descendants. She has lots of info.
