Lynn:
The New Jersey Nordykes were Stephen Henry, his children Ann, Henry Jr., Edith, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. All the Nordykes that I have found are direct descendants of Abraham. Abrahams first 3 children were born in New Jersey (1762-1766). He then moved to Virginea where Beulah and Micajah were born (1769 and 1771). They then moved to Georgia where his next 5 children were born - Daniel 1775, Phebe 1779, Hiram 1782, Elizabeth 1784, and ?Julie? 1786. The next move was to North Carolina where 3 or 4 of his children were married (1787-1793) then to Tennessee where 3 more were married (1793-1799). Then to Ohio where Hiram was married and Abraham died.
The other Virginia Nordyke births were the children of Abrahams first 3 children - Adin, Israel, and Benejah. Hope this helps you.
