Norwegian friend looking for info on his great-uncle, Ivar Olson Brudevold who came to US in 1885 or so, settling in Washingon state. One of his known friends was a Sivert Nordal, born 1856, who may have been a fisherman living in Grays Harbor county, WA. back in 1885-6 and may also have been the man living in Carbonado, WA. on the 1910 census (Carbonado was a coal mining town. Could this Sivert Nordal be connected to your family?
