I was so excited when I found a map of Ribchester with the Village of Norcross nearby.

Then I found a posting of a Young People's Hiking Club who at Christmastime were going to hike through Ribchester, through the fields into Norcross, and then conclude the hike with refreshments at the White Bull Pub. Wow! I was ready to look for my hiking boots.

Have you been to Norcross? I did a Mapquest search and set it on arial and could see that it is still farm land there. Land of Our Fathers. I hope to bring back a bag of dirt from the farm. I feel like Alex Haley must have felt when he found out about Kunta Kinte.

I will e-mail you my mailing address. I'd love to have more information. I have some from your site, but whatever you can share would be super.

Thanks!
Leslie (Norcross Hines)
