The Henry Norbury you mentioned may be of interest to me.
Henry, a woolsorter was born in Wakefield in 1838. He had, I think, two sons - James and Henry born 1866 and 1864 respectively, both in Wakefield (Alverthorpe).
James was a bricklayer and was killed in action in France/Flanders in 1918 in WW1.
The transcript of the letter you mentioned sounds interesting as it must be this Henry the letter mentioned...would you be able to send me a scan of the letter? [email protected] ? Thank you
