Thanks so much for the reply.

According to the Petition for Naturalization for Peter Anton Palmquist he was born Sept 3, 1852 in Motala, Sweden. He emigrated from Motala Sweden on or about the 15th day of May in 1881 and arrived in the United States at the port of New York on the 6th day of June 1881. He could not remember the name of the vessel.

Anna Margrite Anderson Grimstad was born May 5th, 1860 near Christiansund, Norway. She came from Norway in 1882. She married Peter Anton Palmquist in Cumberland, Wisconsin abt 1884.

Any information you could find on either of these two people would be greatly appreciated.

I am also trying to find the parents of Charles Norbeck, a nephew of Peter Anton Palmquist. It is understood that the original name of Peter Palmquist was Norbeck....so is the father of Charles his brother? or is the name change only a story and is the wife of Charles also the sister of Peter? So many questions.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
You can email me direct at rainbow@brainerd.net

thanks,
Cherie Brown
