I want to include that Nellie was VERY German. She was the daughter of Augusta and Albert Kasselhut, Kasselhute. Kesselhut, or Keselhute who lived on a farm outside of Troy, Ks a few miles from St. Joseph, Mo. It is reported that Nellie left home and stopped communicating after a short period of time. Her mother stated on a alien register in 1918 during WWI, which Germans in this country had to complete, that Nellie lived in McAlester, Oklahoma. Unfortuantely she didn't state her married name, if in fact, she was married. She would be my aunt and it has concerned me for years and years that she just disappeared, my Mother said.
