Does anyone have any information on my grandfather, Michael Joseph Noonan(Noon(e))(b.1881-4 - Curraghroe, Co. Roscommon, Ireland) or his brother, Patrick B.(1875-6-Curraghroe, Co. Roscommon, Ire.),sons of Michael & Anne(Garvey)Noone, farmer. They were from a family of 10 children. They emigrated to the US in 1907 & 1891,respectively, along with several brothers and sisters at different times. Their name was Noone in Ireland and changed to Noonan before they set foot on Ellis Island. They lived, married and worked in the New York-New Jersey area. Michael m. Catherine Cavanagh(Ballybay, Co. Monaghan) in 1913 & had 3 children. Patrick married abt. 1900 to Hanorah(Norah)(bIreland) & had about 7 offspring.
Brother and sisters, who also emigrated and stayed in US were: Luke, Annie, Lizzie and Ellen. Lizzie was the only one to marry (Denis Lucy - no children). Thank you for any information you might have.
