There is a birth record in Greene County, which is adjacent to Sullivan & Knox counties, for a female child (unnamed) to Joseph Nolting and Ida, 3/31/1903. Book R-5, page 6. You can find the index on-line at the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Library Web site

It is the only reference I've seen in Greene to Noltings other than the descendants of Charles Fredrick Nolting and Minnie Nail. They emigrated from Prussia abt 1842-1844. Lot of same names of course. Charles F. had sons named Frederick, Charles Augustus and Henry. They do appear in the Greene Co, Stockton Twp census in 1850, but I don't know of any connection with other Nolting families in the U.S.
