Any connection with families?
Frederick Nolte was born in 1838 in Germany he traveled from William Emperor of Germany to Ontario Canada to escape the war between Germany and France.
Fred was married to Julia Schultz. Haven’t located documentation to find if they married in Germany or Canada. They came from different locations. Julia from France and Fred from Germany.
Fred and Julia Nolte had two boys while living in Bruise Mines Ontario, Canada near Sault St. Marie in 1862. The names of the boys are George who was born in 1862 & Charlie Nolte born 1869.
The family of four traveled to Salem Oregon, United States of America.
A daughter named (Josephine) Julia Nolte was born in Salem Oregon 1871.
